Scheduled to run from March 20 to 29, the ten-day festival will occupy the heart of Causeway Bay, welcoming roughly 600,000 horticulture enthusiasts from around the globe. Under the 2026 theme, “A Fragrant Journey through Hong Kong,” the event highlights the intersection of urban energy and natural beauty. This year, the spotlight falls on the Stock (Matthiola incana), a bloom celebrated for its architectural elegance and spicy, clove-like aroma.
The Mediterranean Muse: Celebrating the Stock
Selected as this year’s theme flower, the Stock is a Mediterranean native renowned for its dense, upright clusters of four-petalled blossoms. Visitors can expect to see an expansive palette of these flowers, ranging from traditional deep purples and vibrant magentas to contemporary pastel hues of dusty rose and cream.
